Since its debut in 1975, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato has redefined the concept of sporty elegance in watchmaking. Born in an era of bold design innovation, it broke away from traditional watch aesthetics with its unique combination of geometric shapes and functional practicality. The name "Laureato" (meaning "graduate" in Italian) originated from its acclaim in the Italian market, symbolizing its status as a masterwork of the brand’s watchmaking school.

The watch’s most recognizable feature is its raised octagonal bezel, framed by a circular ring and paired with a tonneau-shaped case, creating a harmonious contrast of lines. The bezel, crafted with alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, adds a layered texture. Complemented by an integrated bracelet that fits seamlessly with the case, it offers exceptional ergonomic comfort. The dial often adorns the classic Clous de Paris (hobnail) pattern, enhancing its luxurious appeal.
